About OBJEKT Incoporated

Objekt Incorporated is a London based design firm, specialising in bespoke and small-batch furniture production. Simplicity and elegance of design are the driving forces behind our aesthetic. The materials we use and methods of construction are important considerations, as we aim to achieving timeless, clean designs with an emphasis on attention to detail and environmental impact.
All our pieces are designed for ease of disassembly and take into account the full life cycle of the object as well as that of the individual materials used. Elements of each piece are never permanently fixed, allowing for ease of storage and transport, as well as efficient end of life recovery of all its parts.
We create designs which embody the harmonious organisation of structure, material and purpose with an emphasis on new assembly and fastening solutions.

Sustainability

We aim to be as responsible towards the environment as possible in every aspect of our design. Our sustainability goals are zero landfill, zero hazardous waste generation, and zero VOC emissions into the air. All our products are designed with the Cradle to Cradle approach in mind, have the highest possible percentage of recyclable content and contain no PVCs. Product longevity is central to the company’s goal of sustainable development; we aim to create simple, timeless and clean designs that will be appreciated for decades to come. To further aid that aim our goal is that every individual component should be easy to replace and ultimately recycled.
